利记sbo Scholarship Gala: Celebrating the Spirit of Giving is Lawrence Technological University’s first-ever scholarship gala. The Spring event was created to support the educational pursuits and spotlight the innovative professional contributions of our exceptional students. It is poised to be the notable event of the season and one you won’t want to miss.

We’re proud to announce that charismatic Fox 2 Detroit Anchor Charlie Langton will serve as host and emcee for the 2024 Gala, held at The Mint at Michigan First Conference Center in Lathrup Village, Mich. Langton will share the microphone with a roster of speakers whose inspiring stories have helped make a true impact on our students and the future of our region.

Alongside an elegant dinner, live entertainment and silent auction, the June 1 Gala will include the presentation of both 利记sbo’s Edward Donley Distinguished Graduate Award and the Ray Moy Award. The latter acknowledges those individuals - students, alumni and friends - who have made significant contributions in leadership, philanthropy, scholarship and service.

The 利记sbo Scholarship Gala celebrates the university’s past and present while expanding future access to this kind of high-quality STEAM education for students from underserved communities.
